Mr. Henry joined GF Management in 2014 as the Director of Development and is responsible for identifying opportunities to grow the Company’s hotel portfolio through hotel acquisitions, third-party management assignments, and new development projects for hospitality properties throughout the country. In addition to these responsibilities, Mr. Henry acts as a liaison for client and partner relationships with the franchise, brokerage and the financial lending community.
Mr. Henry’s experience with hospitality projects includes resorts, conference centers, full service and select service hotels ranging across the country. Mr. Henry also facilitates receivership services, asset management assignments and feasibility studies to best serve our diverse client profiles.
Prior to joining GF Management, Mr. Henry spent four years playing in the National Football League as a Punter for the Philadelphia Eagles and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. It was during his time in the NFL that he began forming relationships in the commercial real estate and property management industry.
Mr. Henry is a graduate of the University of Florida where during his time, was a four-year letterman on the 2008 National Championship Football team, an All-American Punter, and winner of the 2010 Ray Guy Award presented to the nation’s most outstanding punter. Mr. Henry still maintains his involvement with the University Athletic Association and serves as a board member on the University of Florida Bergstrom Real Estate Advisory.
Today, Mr. Henry resides in Tampa, Fla., and is an active participant within the hospitality community through event sponsorship, speaking engagements and panelist involvement across the nation.
