Cash/Securities Lending Analyst
Gregory has been a member of the securities lending team at Ohio PERS since August 2014. In his current position Gregory is responsible for overseeing the day to day trading of all the internally lent assets. These assets include US Treasuries, Mortgage Backed Securities, and TIPS. Gregory is also responsible for the daily re-rating of the assets and necessary recall of any security that is being sold from the various portfolios.
Prior to joining Ohio PERS Gregory spent the first 6 years in the industry working for eSec Lending. He began his career on the operations desk managing day to day collateral settlements across numerous relationships, monitoring daily on loan reconciliations balances for all custodians and counterparties, as well as facilitating the operational impact of custodian transitions for the collateral and settlements team. Gregory then moved into an on-site client relations role at Ohio PERS where he was responsible for managing all aspects of the client’s program, including benchmarking, daily troubleshooting, performance measurements and evaluations. He was also responsible for overseeing all aspects of client securities lending auctions, successfully effecting a total of $78.5 billion in securities.
Gregory earned his Bachelors of Science in Business Administration from Saint Michael’s College in Colchester, Vermont.
