Edward R. “Ned” DeLorme -- Ned has been a Jupiter partner since 2018 and brings nearly 40 years of real estate investment and finance experience to the team. Ned’s experience spans numerous property types but includes particular expertise in the hotel segment. Prior to joining Jupiter, Ned was a principal with Presidio Hotel Group that completed the ground-up construction and/or deep renovation, operation and ultimate sale of 15 hotels throughout the U.S. Notable projects included the construction of the Hilton Garden Inn in Napa, CA; the construction of the Hyatt Place Hotel in Davis, CA; the conversion/renovation of the first franchised Courtyard by Marriott in the state of Hawaii in Lihue, Kauai. From 1995-1999, Ned formed Bridge Capital, a provider of debt and equity for opportunistic real estate transactions which was backed by Blackacre Real Estate/Cerberus. From 1984-1994, Ned was a founding principal in Belgravia Capital Corporation, which ultimately partnered with Heller Financial to create the first nationwide conduit lender for mobile home parks and self-storage facilities. Ned began his career in 1980 with the Bank of Boston in both New York and London. Ned received a BA in Economics and International Relations from Colgate University. A licensed pilot with over 3,000 hours of flying time, Ned prefers to skip TSA and get cleared direct.
