Manager, P&C Claims
I graduated from LSU in 2008 with a degree in finance. Went to work for Regions bank as an analyst before being hired on as a business interruption specialist on the British Petroleum Gulf Oil Spill in 2010.
I worked four and a half years doing business interruption claims for the Gulf Coast Claims Facility during the spill time period. I handled very large business interruption claims for companies that operated along the coast and in the Gulf of Mexico. Companies such as Omega Seafood were completely shut down during the spill, so we had to calculate monthly revenue lost, expenses, payroll, etc.
For the last six years, I’ve worked as a property claims manager specializing in business interruption and property damage. I’m presently a Manager, P&C Claims, Sedgwick SDA. I’m about to finish a masters degree in insurance law and risk management from Texas A&M Law School.
