George Dabney

Mr. Dabney is a managing principal and chief financial officer responsible for financial and accounting administration, treasury, institutional fund management, investor relations and risk management at Noble Investment Group. Noble is a minority-owned, industry-leading specialist in select-service and extended-stay hotels which has invested nearly $5 billion over its three-decade history through its private real estate funds. Noble invests in high-growth markets with over $100 RevPAR characterized by durable demand generators such as major universities, medical centers, and diverse corporate sectors.

Prior to joining Noble, Mr. Dabney served as Managing Director and CFO of Brookfield Hotel Properties, the hospitality platform for Brookfield, a $575 billion global alternative asset manager, where he was member of the firm’s Investment Committee and had primary responsibility for capital formation, finance administration, treasury and investor relations.

Mr. Dabney is active with his alma mater, Penn State University. He is a member of the Philanthropy Council Steering Committee of the Penn State University College of Health and Human Development. He is also a member of the Penn State Hotel & Restaurant Society Executive Board where he co-chairs the Sponsorship Committee. In 2019, Penn State’s School of Hospitality Management honored Mr. Dabney with their Alumni of the Year Award. He is also a member of the Penn State Hospitality Real Estate Strategy Group.

Mr. Dabney holds a Masters in Finance. from University of Maryland Global Campus, and a B.S. in Accounting from Penn State University and started his career at EY as a CPA.
