Executive Vice President
As Executive Vice President of Capital Markets at BSI Financial, I am primarily responsible for the structuring and growth of "owned" mortgage servicing rights. In that role, I work with capital partners that are looking to invest in excess servicing rights, structuring MSR transactions, acquisition of MSRs and retention and recapture lending strategies to enhance investor value. As a secondary role at BSI, I work with the Executive Management team to help grow BSI's portfolio of servicing and sub-servicing in the NPL/RPL, business purpose loans and performing mortgage loan servicing.
From 1993 to 2009 I was a founder and CEO of Thornburg Mortgage, a NYSE listed mortgage REIT focused on agency and private label RMBS portfolio investing and high quality jumbo lending and securitization.
Before 1993 I worked at various savings and loan organizations focused on RMBS acquisitions and portfolio management, hedging, securitization and financing.
I earned a bachelors degree in Economics from New Mexico State University and an MBA in Economics from the University of Arizona.
