Chris Fraley is the Chief Investment Officer for RealtyMogul and a member of RealtyMogul’s Investment and Executive Committee. Mr. Fraley has over 20 years of experience in commercial real estate finance, specializing in complex joint venture equity investments; first at Rockwood Capital and later at a company he founded called Evolve.
Since Mr. Fraley started as CIO in June 2017, RealtyMogul has closed investments in over $300M of assets in joint venture, debt and preferred equity.
Mr. Fraley started Evolve in 2013, focusing on co-general partnership opportunities and has structured transactions totaling $400M in cost. Prior to starting evolve, Mr. Fraley was a Partner and Head of Research for Rockwood Capital, a privately held real estate investment and advisory firm that, at the time of Mr. Fraley’s departure, managed more than $8.3 billion of assets. From 1999 through 2011, Mr. Fraley was responsible for acquisitions and asset management on the East Coast, including sourcing transactions and negotiating joint venture partnerships. Mr. Fraley was voted into the partnership of Rockwood in 2006 and served on the Investment Committees of Funds V, VI, VII, VIII, and IX. He also served as member of the Research and Strategy Committee and of the Management Committee.
Mr. Fraley received a Bachelor of Arts, Metropolitan Studies from New York University in 1990 and a Masters of Business Administration from Yale University in 1999.
