R. Paul Mehlman, CFA, is a Partner of Landmark. He is responsible for sourcing, underwriting and managing real estate investments. Mr. Mehlman joined Landmark in 1996 and worked on closing the Firm’s first real estate secondary transaction. Since that time, he has participated in the formation and investment of all of Landmark’s real estate secondary funds. During his 23 years in the real estate industry, Mr. Mehlman has worked in a variety of asset and portfolio management capacities and has participated in property acquisitions and development projects with a gross market value exceeding $1 billion. Before joining Landmark, Mr. Mehlman was a vice president at Equitable Real Estate, now Lend Lease. Mr. Mehlman started his career as a project manager for Bulfinch Development, a real estate development firm based in Boston, Massachusetts. Mr. Mehlman is a member of the Urban Land Institute (“ULI”) and the Pension Real Estate Association and has taught courses in portfolio asset management for Johns Hopkins University, ULI and the General Services Administration. Mr. Mehlman serves as a member of the board of supervisors of the Meadowbrook Real Estate Fund, managed by Bessemer Trust Company, N.A. and on the advisory committee of EquaStone Value Fund II. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) who received a BA degree and a Masters of Architecture degree from Harvard University.
