Head of Greater China, Structured Finance
Hilary Tan is a Senior Director and Head of Greater China Structured Finance of Fitch Ratings. Her responsibility is focused primarily on ratings on China securitisation transactions. She joined Fitch in 2011 and was responsible for the surveillance of structured finance transactions in the APAC region and asset classes included ABS, RMBS, CMBS and CLOs.
Hilary first joined Fitch in 2003 also responsible for rating structured finance transactions in the Non-Japan Asian region. Subsequently, Hilary joined Merrill Lynch (Asia Pacific) Limited (now Bank of America Merrill Lynch) responsible for the monitoring and surveillance of the bank’s exposure in USD3 billion of investments in consumer finance assets and asset-backed loans in the Asian region.
Hilary graduated from the University of Washington with a B.A. in Business Administration with a major in Finance.
