David is an active real estate investor as well as a proven entrepreneur and executive with over 25 years of real estate and construction experience. He is currently the Managing Partner of both U. S. Residential Opportunity Fund LP and Intrepid Capital Investments. David has been involved in various capacities in the planning, design, development, and construction of over 5 million square feet of commercial and residential projects.
The primary objective of U. S. Residential Opportunity Fund LP, a private real estate investment fund, is to engage in the business of acquiring, renovating, and owning residential rental properties nationwide. The fund has acquired well over 1,000 multi-family and single-family homes as long term assets. The fund is currently focused on acquiring properties in Columbus & Cincinnati, Ohio, and Indianapolis, Indiana, although it is exploring other markets.  David was previously a Co-General Partner in a buy and flip fund that had an equity interest in over 3500 homes. David also has a well-established track record in non-agency RMBS, private equity, diversified investment strategies, and alternative assets.

David has been active in many associations including: Hoover Institute (Member of Hoover Council), Stanford Institute for Economic Policy Research (SIEPR Board Member), Board Member and Vice Chair of the Lincoln Club of Northern California, Sheriffs’ Advisory Board of Santa Clara County, Silicon Valley Leadership Group (SVLG), InnVision Shelter Network (IVSN) Board Member and The Triple "C" Foundation (Board & Founder). He was also the Chairman of the Scientific & Medical Research Facilities Working Group of the California Institute of Regenerative Medicine (CIRM). David attended Rutgers University and Columbia University. David resides in Palo Alto, California with his wife Sylvia.
