Kei Kitayama joined Moody's in 1999. He was promoted to Senior Vice President in 2000 and to Managing Director in 2002. Kei became the head of Moody's Japan office in 2004. In 2010, his responsibilities expanded to cover the Structured Finance Group for Asia Pacific.
Prior to joining Moody's, Kei worked for the Long-Term Credit Bank of Japan (currently Shinsei Bank) for 12 years.
Kei holds a BA degree in marketing from Hitotsubashi University and an MBA degree from the Stern School of New York University.
