Barratt Johnson is a Senior Vice President within the Alternative Investment Solutions division, with global responsibility for the Real Assets business.  He previously served as head of Real Assets – Product and as head of the Real Assets fund administration operations teams in North America.  Barry has over 20 years of experience and joined State Street in February 2012 as part of the real estate fund services lift-out from Morgan Stanley.
Prior to joining State Street, Barry was the global head of fund accounting for the real estate investing business at Morgan Stanley.  Barry previously worked as a real estate fund controller for Lend Lease Real Estate Investments prior to an acquisition by Morgan Stanley, focusing on core real estate funds.  He has also worked as an auditor for Ernst & Young, primarily focusing on the financial services industry.
Barry is an active member of the National Council of Real Estate Investment Fiduciaries (NCREIF).  In 2015, he was selected to serve as a member of the NCREIF PREA Reporting Standards Council and is currently serving his second three year term.  Barry earned a Bachelor of Arts degree, with Honors, in Finance from Saint Andrews College and an M.B.A. from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
