Adam Lesnick is Counsel in the Seward & Kissel’s Real Estate Department. Mr. Lesnick focuses his practice on the establishment and ongoing management of a variety of real estate private investment funds. He also assists such funds and other institutional investors in the purchase, sale and financing of real estate and real estate-related assets. Mr. Lesnick joined Seward & Kissel in 1998. Mr. Lesnick’s experience with fund formations includes representing real estate funds, fund of funds, joint ventures and other investment vehicles in all aspects of their formation and ongoing operations, including advising fund sponsors and managers with respect to organizational, operational and compensation matters, and preparing, structuring and negotiating fund formation and investment documents, forming parallel, feeder and co-investment vehicles. He also specializes in representing investors in negotiating their investments in private investment vehicles. Mr. Lesnick has been involved in numerous real estate securities transactions, including roll-up consolidation transactions, portfolio acquisitions, UPREITs and DOWNREITs. Mr. Lesnick also has significant experience in all aspects of the acquisition, financing, development and disposition of various real estate assets, including office buildings, shopping malls, industrial facilities, multi-family residential properties, and vacant land.
